Video Production Prices 2026:

Video-production prices vary greatly according to the type, scope and quality expectations of the project. Different service types—corporate films, commercial films, factory filming, event films and OH&S training films—each have their own cost structure.

In this guide, we present video-production prices in Türkiye in 2026 comparatively by service type. The aim is to clarify how much each service costs and help with budget planning.

Medyabox has completed more than 250 projects since 2015. We have worked with brands including Google, Fujifilm, ODTÜ, Darüşşafaka, Mondelez, Arzum, Acıbadem and Enka. The pricing information and assessments in this article are based directly on our market experience.

Last updated: 4 September 2026. The figures on this page are Medyabox reference ranges excluding VAT, aligned with our published starting prices. The final quotation depends on filming days, locations, crew, technical requirements, post-production, languages and delivery scope.

Main Factors That Determine Video-Production Prices

Regardless of service type, there are common factors that determine the price of every video-production project. Understanding them allows you to compare quotations from different agencies properly.

Production Quality and Equipment

Technical equipment such as professional cinema cameras, lens sets, lighting equipment, gimbals, sliders and drones directly determines image quality. Agencies working with their own equipment do not pass rental costs on to the client, reducing the total budget.

All Medyabox equipment is owned in-house. This provides a cost advantage and guarantees that the team has full command of its own equipment.

Crew Size

A minimum production crew consists of a director, camera operator and lighting technician. Depending on the scope, a sound operator, second camera operator, drone operator, production assistant, art director and make-up artist may be added. Each additional crew member is added to the daily cost.

Pre-Production Process

Script development, storyboarding, location assessment, filming plans and logistics are defined during pre-production. The cost is calculated from the work actually required rather than from a fixed percentage of the total budget.

Post-Production Process

Editing, colour grading, sound design, voice-over, music, graphics and subtitles are planned according to the approved deliverables. Post-production is priced by scope rather than as a fixed percentage of the project.

Video Production Agency or Freelancer?

This question is a common decision point in budget planning. Both options have advantages and disadvantages.

Working with a Freelancer

Freelancers may offer a leaner cost structure for small, clearly defined assignments. The comparison should be based on crew depth, equipment, backup, sound, data security, post-production and delivery responsibility—not on a fixed percentage.

The disadvantages are a lack of project management, limited equipment, no backup crew in the event of illness or disruption and limited post-production capacity. A freelancer may be a good option for simple, low-budget projects. However, this creates risk in critical projects such as corporate communication, export promotion or brand campaigns.

Working with a Professional Agency

The advantages of working with an agency are project management and coordination, a crew structure with backup capacity, a broad equipment pool, multidisciplinary expertise, revision and quality assurance, and the security of references and a portfolio.

The disadvantage is the higher cost. However, this difference is balanced by the project's quality, reliability and on-time delivery.

Agency or freelancer selection should not be based on one budget threshold. Projects requiring a crew, reliable sound, backup systems, fixed deadlines, multiple locations or advanced post-production generally benefit from an organised production structure.

Five Steps to Setting the Correct Budget

1. Clarify the Film's Purpose and Use

Where will the film be used? Website, social media, trade fair, investor presentation or internal communication? The use determines the film format and therefore its budget.

2. Define Your Target Audience

Who will the film address? Overseas buyers, domestic customers, employees or investors? The target audience determines the film's language, tone and production level.

3. Collect Reference Films

Collect corporate or commercial films you like and show them to the agency. This is the most effective way to communicate expectations clearly and speeds up the quotation process.

4. Obtain Quotations from at Least Three Agencies

Obtaining quotations from different agencies helps you understand the market price. However, consider not only the price but also the scope, included services and the agency's references.

5. Ask About Hidden Costs

Is the script included? How many revisions are included? Is voice-over included or additional? Is the music licensed or royalty-free? Is delivery in different formats subject to an additional fee? These questions reveal the real difference between quotations.

Is there anything we need to do on the filming day?

Yes. We provide multilingual voice-over and subtitle services, including Turkish, English, German, Arabic, Russian and French. We work with professional native-speaking voice artists for each language.
